Booking Terms & Conditions
At Surrey Mobile Beauty Therapy, your comfort, safety and enjoyment are my priority.
Please take a moment to familiarise yourself with my booking terms and conditions, which outline important information regarding appointments, payments, cancellations, treatment suitability and home visits.
Thank you for your understanding and for choosing Surrey Mobile Beauty Therapy.
Booking Terms & Conditions
Surrey Mobile Beauty Therapy
At Surrey Mobile Beauty Therapy, I aim to provide a professional, relaxing and enjoyable treatment experience in the comfort of your own home.
As an independent mobile beauty therapist, I kindly ask all clients to familiarise themselves with the following booking terms and conditions to ensure appointments run smoothly, comfortably and safely.
1. Appointments & Bookings
All appointments are subject to availability and confirmation.
Please provide accurate contact details, your full treatment address and any relevant information when making an enquiry.
Appointments are confirmed once the date, time, treatment and any applicable booking requirements have been agreed.
2. Payment Terms
Payment is required in full immediately following completion of your treatment.
Payments are accepted by cash or bank transfer.
For bank transfers, payment must be made at the appointment, before I leave the treatment property. Bank transfer details will be provided when required.
For larger group bookings or pamper parties, a deposit may be required in advance, with any outstanding balance payable immediately following the appointment.
Thank you for ensuring payment is ready at the time of your treatment.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is kindly requested when cancelling or rearranging an appointment.
I completely appreciate that illness, emergencies and unexpected circumstances can arise. If something happens, please contact me as soon as possible so we can discuss the situation.
Where insufficient notice is provided, a reasonable cancellation charge may apply if this was communicated when booking. Any charge will reflect the actual loss incurred and will take account of whether the appointment can be filled.
Your understanding is greatly appreciated, particularly as appointments involve dedicated travel time and preparation.
4. Group Bookings, Pamper Parties & Deposits
For larger group bookings, pamper parties or appointments requiring significant preparation, a deposit may be requested to secure the reservation.
Any deposit amount and payment terms will be clearly communicated before the booking is confirmed.
Should a client cancel, part or all of the deposit may be retained where reasonably necessary to cover genuine losses arising from the cancellation, including reserved appointment time and preparation costs.
Deposits are not automatically refundable or non-refundable in every circumstance. Any amount retained will be fair and proportionate, taking account of applicable consumer rights.
Changes to guest numbers, treatment choices or arrangements should be communicated as early as possible.
5. Parking & Property Access
As a mobile beauty therapist, I travel with professional equipment and supplies necessary to provide your chosen treatment.
Suitable parking must be available close to the treatment property, allowing safe and practical unloading and collection of equipment.
Where parking restrictions or permit schemes operate, the client is responsible for arranging any necessary visitor permits or suitable authorised parking in advance.
Please advise me of any parking charges or access restrictions when booking. Any agreed parking costs will be communicated before your appointment.
Unfortunately, I am unable to transport heavy or bulky equipment over excessive distances from the parking location.
6. Stairs, Lifts & Accessibility
Due to the nature, weight and volume of my professional equipment, appointments must be accessible without carrying equipment up or down flights of stairs.
For properties above ground-floor level, a suitable working lift must be available.
Please advise me of any steps, access difficulties, lift restrictions or other obstacles before confirming your appointment.
If safe and suitable access is unavailable on arrival, it may not be possible to proceed with the treatment.
7. Preparing for Your Treatment
Please ensure there is a clean, comfortable and suitable space available for your treatment, with sufficient room for any equipment required.
The treatment area should be appropriately heated, accessible and free from avoidable interruptions.
For safety and hygiene, pets should be kept away from the treatment area and young children should be appropriately supervised by another responsible person during the appointment.
Where possible, please be ready at your agreed appointment time.
8. Health, Medical Conditions & Treatment Suitability
Your health, comfort and wellbeing are extremely important.
All clients are required to provide accurate and up-to-date information during their consultation, including relevant medical conditions, allergies, medications, recent surgery, pregnancy or any other factors that may affect treatment suitability.
Consultations and consent forms are managed electronically through the FACES system.
Written consent or clearance from your GP or relevant healthcare professional may be required before certain treatments can proceed.
I reserve the right to adapt, postpone or decline a treatment where there are reasonable health, hygiene or safety concerns, or where treatment falls outside my professional qualifications and insurance.
9. Nail & Foot Treatment Restrictions
Surrey Mobile Beauty Therapy provides cosmetic beauty treatments and is not a chiropody or podiatry service.
I am unable to diagnose or treat medical foot conditions, fungal nail infections, suspected contagious skin or nail conditions, or other concerns requiring specialist medical attention.
Where a condition is suspected, the affected treatment may be declined or postponed, and you may be advised to consult a GP, pharmacist or qualified podiatrist.
10. Treatment Results & Aftercare
Every client is individual, and treatment results may vary according to skin type, nail condition, lifestyle, health and other personal factors.
Clients are kindly requested to follow all aftercare instructions and professional advice provided following their treatment.
Please contact me promptly if you experience an unexpected reaction or have concerns following your appointment. Seek appropriate medical assistance where necessary.
11. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers issued by Surrey Mobile Beauty Therapy are valid for six months from the date of purchase, with the expiry date clearly stated at the time of purchase.
Appointments must be booked and treatments redeemed within the voucher’s validity period, subject to availability.
Gift vouchers may be transferred to another recipient at my discretion, provided they remain valid and the intended treatment is suitable for the new recipient.
Extensions may be considered in exceptional circumstances at my discretion.
Gift vouchers have no cash redemption value. Nothing in these terms affects any applicable statutory rights.
12. Late Arrivals & Unforeseen Circumstances
If you are running late or experience an unexpected difficulty before your appointment, please contact me as soon as possible.
Late starts may result in a shortened treatment where necessary to avoid disruption to subsequent bookings.
Occasionally, circumstances outside my control, such as illness, severe weather, travel disruption or an emergency, may require an appointment to be rearranged.
In such circumstances, I will contact you as soon as reasonably possible to discuss suitable alternatives or any refund due.
13. Professional Conduct & Safety
All treatments are provided within a professional, respectful and safe environment.
I reserve the right to stop or decline an appointment where there is inappropriate behaviour, harassment, unsafe working conditions or a genuine concern for personal safety.
Clients are expected to respect professional boundaries throughout their appointment.
14. Consumer Rights
Nothing in these terms and conditions limits or excludes your statutory consumer rights.
Where applicable, clients booking remotely or away from business premises may have additional cancellation rights under consumer protection legislation.
Any applicable statutory cancellation rights take precedence over the standard 24-hour appointment cancellation policy.
15. Contact & Enquiries
If you have any questions regarding bookings, treatment suitability, access arrangements or these terms and conditions, please get in touch before your appointment.
